All Big Rock Cabins have a maximum occupancy of two adults.
Visitors are not permitted.
Children are not permitted.
Please read and observe the following policies to help us keep Big Rock Cabins a stress-free sanctuary where all guests can truly relax.

You must be at least 25 years of age to rent or occupy a cabin.
At Big Rock Cabins, Privacy means that you will not see us or anyone else while you are at your cabin. “Private Area” signs are posted when a driveway or trail enters a cabin area. Do not pass “Private Area” signs unless you are approaching your own cabin.
We love our pets and would most likely love yours too, but we cannot allow them to visit.
If your stay includes a Friday or Saturday night, there is a two-night minimum with both nights charged at the weekend rate. Orphaned weekend nights are available at the weekend rate with no minimum stay. Single night stays are available Sunday through Thursday.
Full payment with a credit card is required to secure a reservation. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Total charge will include 8% added to the stated rates. Reservations are processed in the order that they are received. Please make your reservations online if possible.
Federal holiday weekends require a three-night minimum stay with three nights charged at the weekend rate.
Reservations that are cancelled more than two weeks prior
to a reserved date, will receive an 85% refund. Cancellations made less
than two weeks, but more than three days prior to a reserved date,
will receive a 50% refund. There are no refunds for cancellations made
less than 72 hours prior to the reservation check-in time.
No refunds for early departure any reason including medical emergncies or inclement weather. As a super-small business we are unfortunately unable to make any exceptions to this policy.
There will be a $25 min. charge for refunds not subject to the terms above.
Check-in is between 3:00pm-6:00pm at our Office. We will text your phone mid-morning on your day of arrival. Please reply as soon as possible with your ETA. Any arrangements for early or late check-ins will be done at this time. If you do not receive a text from us by 11:00am, please give us a call at (740)988-5120.
Check-out is by 11:00am. You do not need to stop at the Office to check out. Simply tidy up and leave the key in the cabin. Dishes must be washed and bagged trash placed in the outside garbage can . Check-out time is strictly enforced so that the cabin can be made ready for our next guests.
Big Rock Cabins all have well maintained gravel driveways that are very rarely impassable due to severe winter weather. During these times, we’ll be glad to ferry you and your luggage and supplies. We have specialized vehicles for this purpose that will handle most any conditions. You may also elect to park and walk to and from the cabins. (short walk @ 500 to 2500ft.) Winter is a spectacular time to visit, but there will be no refunds due to adverse weather or driving conditions en route to our location or during your stay.
Smoking or vaping of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the cabins. Ashtrays are provided for your use outside. Smoking or vaping in the cabin will result in an additional charge of $100 on your credit card.
Reasonable effort is made to maintain full functionality of the electromechanical systems and appurtenances of the cabins and grounds. While rare, electrical or mechanical systems may fail. Please let us know immediately if you encounter a problem. We will attempt to remedy any problem as quickly as possible. We will not, however, make any concession for the loss of use or service of these items.
We must reserve the right to charge your credit card for any damages or excessive cleaning from your stay. If you notice any problems upon checking in, please let us know right away to avoid any damages being charged to your account.
